Thursday is the new Friday so treat yourself to a night out exploring the great tastes available in this short 3 block tour year round!
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes.
Guests under 18 years of age will receive non-alcohol beverages. All guests should drink responsibly
We’ll begin with authentic appetizers, Neopolitan pizza and sumptuous Italian beverages. Then we’ll enjoy icing our own cupcakes, nibbling on drool-worthy appetizers, checking out cheese pairings and beers and dessert. We’ll take a gift of tea home to enjoy the next morning.
Owned by the Tudda family since 1974, son Dominic was the 1st chef in Canada to be and to maintain the strict certification of true Neapolitan pizza.
The Naked Leaf Tea Shop
This definitely qualifies as a hidden gem and thought we won't drink tea tonight, we'll pop by to pick up your take home gift of tea for tomorrow!
Crave Cookies and Cupcakes
Once you've tasted the homemade goodness of these, every other cupcake gets measured on "the Crave meter".
Kensington Riverside Inn and Oxbow Restaurant
This is Calgary's only Relais et Chateaux property. Here we'll enjoy an elegant bite and wine pairing prepared by chef Sean Cutler.
Peasant Cheese Shop and Kensington Wine Market
Cheese pairings will be different each time we visit and so will the pairings from the wine market. Ever try scotch whisky and cheese? Prepare to be dazzled.
Dessert and beer? Absolutely! Especially when it's local craft beer and house made desserts made by classically trained chefs like owner Cameron Dobranski.
Be on time and meet at Pulcinella Ristorante - 1147 Kensington Crescent N.W. Our guide will be waiting for you. Just ask for the Calgary Food Tours table.

The tours are held rain, shine, or snow. For tours in winter months, rest assured we’ve planned them so the walk is a short distance between establishments and we’ll spend most of our time cozied up inside. Do check the weather conditions on the day of your tour and dress appropriately – rain gear, toques, mitts, scarves and layers!
Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, diabetic, celiac, allergy, etc.) when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can usually accommodate your needs. With humble apologies – most of our tours are not suited to a purely vegan diet.
All gratuities to our vendor partners have been taken care of in the price of your ticket. Gratuities for your guide are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%.

This tour was different because at each place the owner or staff actually spoke to our group about what they were serving us, giving us information on where the produce comes from and how they prepare it. Totally worth it!
